The CNMI Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network at the Northern Marianas College, in partnership with the Commonwealth Bureau of Military Affairs (CBMA), Pacific Air Forces (PACAF), and Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC), invites businesses across the Commonwealth to participate in the 2025 CNMI Industry Day. This multi-island event aims to provide local businesses with direct access to federal contracting opportunities and vital information on upcoming projects in the region.
Industry Day is an essential event for businesses seeking to engage with Department of Defense (DoD) projects in the CNMI. With numerous current and upcoming infrastructure and defense-related projects, this is a crucial opportunity for local businesses to learn how they can participate, expand their capabilities, and secure federal contracts that contribute to the economic growth of the CNMI. CNMI SBDCN has been hard at work preparing its clients and the community for Industry Day by offering targeted training and one-on-one counseling sessions, equipping them with the knowledge and tools necessary to position themselves for success in acquiring contracting opportunities.
The 2025 CNMI Industry Day will take place on all three islands:
- Rota – April 29, 2025 | Puesto Grill Annex (Songsong, Rota) | 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM
- Tinian – May 1, 2025 | Bar-K Diner (San Jose, Tinian) | 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Saipan – May 2, 2025 | Hibiscus Hall, Crowne Plaza Resort (Garapan, Saipan) | 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Each session will feature guest speakers from PACAF, NAVFAC, and other key stakeholders who will present on upcoming projects and federal procurement processes. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in discussions with contractors, federal agencies, and industry leaders in an exhibition setting, allowing businesses and contractors to connect, exchange insights, and explore potential opportunities for collaboration.
“The CNMI SBDCN is committed to ensuring that our local businesses are prepared to seize federal contracting opportunities,” said CNMI SBDC Network Director Nadine Deleon Guerrero. “Through targeted training and counseling, we have been equipping businesses with the knowledge and resources needed to navigate the federal procurement process successfully. Industry Day is a key step in connecting them with the right opportunities and partners to foster business growth and economic development in the CNMI.”
This event is open to all SBDC clients and the public, and no prior registration is required for general attendance.
