(Rota, MP) The Rota Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at the Northern Marianas College Rota Campus is proud to announce its completion of the “Social Media Mastery – Boost Your Business Online”, led by Rota native Heaven Griffin. The training event, held on August 24, 2024, saw an enthusiastic turnout from local entrepreneurs, marketers, and community members eager to learn and elevate their businesses through effective social media strategies.
The training was marked by active participation, with attendees keen to absorb Griffin’s valuable insights on harnessing the power of social media to boost their businesses. Participants praised the session for its practical approach and the clear, actionable strategies that were shared.
Reflecting on the event, Heaven Griffin said, “I’m super grateful to those who attended. I hope the participants walked away with knowledge on how to leverage social media as part of their marketing strategy for their businesses. With the power of AI & social media, there are so many opportunities to grow their business, as well as their connection to their community & customers.”
Participants expressed their appreciation for the training, with Angie Anna Hocog-Muña stating, “Heaven’s experience and passion for social media was evident through every aspect of the session. The insights I’ve gained are invaluable, and I’m eager to apply these skills to enhance the social media presence that our association could greatly benefit from.”
Charlene M. Ogo, Director of Rota SBDC, also shared her thoughts on the event’s success: “This training was more than just a workshop; it was a celebration of Rota’s spirit of collaboration and growth. Heaven’s return to her roots to support our local businesses exemplifies the community-driven approach we value at Rota SBDC. We are grateful for her dedication and proud of the impact this training will have on our local economy.”
