CNMI SBDC Network reveals its first Speaker Profile in its Presenter Series leading to the 2024 Friends of Business Summit: CyberTech Edition

(Saipan, CNMI) The CNMI Small Business Development Center Network is excited to share its release of announcing the first of its many speakers who will be gracing our business, education and senior leadership communities alike at the highly anticipated 2024 Friends of Business Summit: CyberTech Edition event happening Thursday, April 4, 2024 at the Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan. The summit promises a day of tech innovation, insightful presentations, and networking opportunities for businesses and government agencies across the Commonwealth.

Joshua Cook, Owner of Pacific Pact, will discuss how technology can make or break an organization in the first of its morning breakout sessions through a presentation titled “Innovate or Die: Utilizing Information Technology to Improve Modern Day Workflow Strategies.”

About the Breakout Session:

It’s difficult to change with technology when it can cause chaos or waste time. In this session, participants will be taken on an exploratory journey on big misunderstandings and misconceptions about technology, especially software changes. Our esteemed presenter will dive into knowing how to decipher an organization’s needs and help confidently plan next steps to evolve with technology.

Additionally, make your organization’s technology shift bulletproof by learning:

  • How to prepare at the management level
  • Choosing the right software
  • Good vs. Great project management
  • Preparing the team
  • Supporting the changes

By the end of this session, attendees will be better equipped with knowledge related to measuring technology ROI while sitting through information-sharing on hardships and triumphs experienced from CNMI’s enterprise software projects – what worked and what didn’t; but most importantly, why?

This session is ideal for businesses or organizations who are looking to transition or upgrade from their current software or enterprise systems to an alternative solution or, for anyone interested in learning more on how to best manage and utilize technology through taking a closer look at their team’s needs, capacity, and gaps within their business or organization.
